This was my first vintage pen purchase and I am sooo impressed by it! Ozark did a fabulous job at refurbishing it. I did a lot of research on vintage pens before making this purchase and she does not disappoint at all! It was so easy to fill, writes smoothly, looks clean and taken care of, no cracks or issues. I put Van Diemans Tasmanian Robin Pink ink in it to complement its beautiful color. I also found a vintage Sheaffer's pen box of the era and style that I think it would of came in to add to the fun aesthetic vibes :-) I also love that it has the original owner's name engraved on it. For me, that adds to its vintage history. Everyone who has seen it has been impressed by it because of it's color, condition, and age. I will definitely be a returning customer! I really love this pen!

WASP (William A. Sheaffer Pen) is the second tier Sheaffer. You wouldn't know this if you compared it to new fountain pens. What I found interesting is that it isn't a Medium nib. It is a very nice Fine nib that writes Extra Fine in reverse writing (as the nib says, writes in two ways). This pen has been restored to look and feel like a brand new pen. I am very happy with this purchase.

Every pen I’ve bought has been really great (two Sheaffer and a Parker), and the promptness with which my purchases were sent to me was excellent. Over-all wonderful experience.

One, very, very minor complaint is that on some of the listings and descriptions the information was less than accurate (for example a lever filler being described as a vac-filler) but the description of the condition of the pen was always accurate.

Once my pen purchasing budget has been replenished I’ll be back to make further purchases.

I love the vintage Sheaffer flat-tops and have 30+ in my collection, The "Connaisseur" was launched about 1885 and offered through the mid-1990s to update the earlier flat-tops. The Levenger people offered essentially the same pen in the late 1990s in different colors. I recently purchased at Ozark Pen a burgundy Connaisseur with a broad nib, beautifully engraved. It is Made in USA and nearly unscratched. It's the best signature pen I've acquired--and the cap stays posted. The price was excellent and the pen arrived in four days. Good pen, great service.

The pen is great! It is an early model with the asymmetrical streamlined “clipper” cap. Shipping was fast.

This Sheaffer Connaisseur was made when I was a college student in the late 80's - I remember admiring it back then, but having to settle for my Sheaffer school pens. But now I have one and it is all I hoped for! I appreciate Ozark's splendid photography, prompt response and shipping and excellent website.
